The Inuktitut name for Baffin Island is Qikiqtaaluk, it resides in Arctic Circle in the overlaying territory of Nunavut, Canada. This is the first of a ‘Time Signature’ video practice that began with a spontaneous sequence of movements by the artist. Barefoot and shifting, anchored by touch, with an attempt to bring the mind closer to the earth - to time itself. Fleeting, a canon of bodies trace over this slow terrain, pushing from boulder to boulder, drawing forth a score.
